This page describes how RO-tation collects, uses, and stores personal data about members, interested visitors, and site visitors.
Data controller
RO-tation is the data controller for personal data processed through this website and member portal. If you have questions about this policy or your data, you can contact us at [INSERT CONTACT EMAIL].
What we collect
Depending on how you use the site, we may collect:
- Name, email, and optionally phone, Instagram, and postcode, when you join an interest list or become a member
- Answers to non-binding questions about expected start, experience, price acceptance, and expected usage
- Booking and usage history (wheel sessions, materials, glaze, firing), if you're a member
- Payment and membership status related to your membership
- Photos and profile text, if you sell ceramics through RO-tation
- Login details (via Supabase) if you create an account
Why we use the data
- To create and manage your membership, bookings, and usage
- To contact you about an interest list you signed up for yourself
- To settle sales, if you sell ceramics through the platform
- To improve and responsibly run the studio (e.g. capacity planning)
Legal basis
We process member data to fulfil the membership agreement (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)). Interest lists and marketing are based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
Where data is stored
Data is stored with Supabase (database hosting in the EU, Frankfurt) and the site runs on Vercel. We don't share data with third parties beyond the processors necessary to operate the platform.
How long we keep data
Lead/interest list data is kept until you request deletion, or until it's clear no membership will come of it. Member data is kept while the membership is active, and afterward for as long as bookkeeping and tax law requires.
Your rights
- You have the right to see what data we hold about you
- You have the right to have incorrect data corrected
- You have the right to have your data deleted where the law allows it
- You have the right to withdraw consent (e.g. to being contacted about a location)
- You can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (datatilsynet.dk) if you disagree with our processing
Cookies
We only use the technical cookies necessary to keep you logged in (provided by Supabase). We don't use marketing or third-party tracking cookies.
